Frank and Catherine’s joint birthday celebration — a Swiss couple, with Catherine proudly embracing her Italian heritage — was far more than an event. It was a reflection of their family: generous, warm, effortlessly elegant.

On Saturday evening, guests experienced a refined gala dinner at the Grand Hotel Miramare in Santa Margherita Ligure, where live music, curated details and a naturally sophisticated atmosphere perfectly captured the couple’s style.
Sunday shifted the mood entirely. With a total white dress code, guests departed by boat and arrived in Portofino for an immersive and playful experience. Divided into teams, they took part in a treasure hunt through the colourful streets and hidden corners of this iconic Riviera village — a dynamic and memorable way to explore the destination.
As a destination event planner in Italy, I managed the full planning and coordination of the three-day celebration, balancing international logistics with refined aesthetics and meaningful experiences.
