Elisa and Markus got married on a wonderful sunny day in late December. She from Milan and he from Frankfurt between them was love at first sight and only a few months later, they decided to get married. Their beloved mountain was the star of the wedding: a beautiful mountain hut above Cortina, at 1,500 meters, nestled in the woods with an extraordinary view of the Dolomites was the backdrop for the exchange of their vows.
The sun flooded the mountains with a warm and wonderful light, making the snow glisten all around the terrace of the refuge, where we were able to celebrate the ceremony outdoors. Custom blankets and gloves for all guests were part of the welcome baskets that each guest found at the hotel room. Everyone was prepared for a very special ceremony and so it was.
Moving and touching, it was accompanied by the suave voices of a Gospel group.
After the ceremony, the barn stove warmed the guests with a small buffet of typical mountain products. While for the reception, the tables were simply set with berries and fir to remind them of the Christmas season; to let their loved ones experience the warm family atmosphere that only a mountain hut can provide.
